Out & About

Walks & Rides

Dumbleton is ideally placed for walks and rides in the beautiful countryside around. There is a good network of rights of way radiating from the village. There is a leaflet available in the shop, which shows three of these. Two of them cross Dumbleton Hill, which has many little picturesque valleys, resident populations of deer, buzzards and hares, and masses of spring bluebells. The third walk is to the neighbouring village of Wormington and the River Isbourne. These and other footpaths, bridleways and minor roads make Dumbleton a great place for a day out in the countryside – but please stick to the rights of way and respect the life of the countryside.
